Getting Started
Confirming Dates
Booking with us is easy. Visit our Contact Us page for our prefered means of communication, then contact us to discuss available times and to confirm your hunting dates.
Permits, Contracts, and other Necessary Forms
Once your dates have been confirmed we will send you our client contract and indemnity form which you will need to complete and return to us.
Since the client does not need tags for animals, or a hunting license, these are the only forms that must be completed for those who do not wish to hunt animals requiring special permits and who are not bringing their own firearms.
If you plan to hunt a trophy from our list marked "**", then you will need to communicate this to us ASAP, so that we may begin the process of obtaining the necessary permits. For some animals, permits may be difficult to acquire, so the further in advance we begin the process the better!
Should you wish to bring your own firearms to conduct your hunt, you will need to apply for a Temporary Import/Export Permit. There is no cost for this, and it can be done personally or using our recommended service provider to assist you. Using this service will make your life that much easier.

Transportation
If you are looking for direct flights to SA, Delta have direct flights departing from Atl, to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. The flight from USA to SA is roughly 16 hours, so if you do plan to break up this flight, we recommend not traveling through Europe if you are bringing your own firearms, as you may encounter extra unwanted hassle.
Also, you will need to familiarize yourself with SA's new travel regulations for minors if you plan on bringing your children. You can find this information on the web, or by consulting your travel agent.
We recommend then taking a connecting flight to Hoedspruit. Driving is an option if you prefer and takes a little over 5 hours (contact us for special pickup arrangements from O.R. Tambo). Once you have reached one of the local airports, I will meet you personally to transport you with a short car ride to the lodge. This service is complimentary.

Weather
Hunting in SA can be done year-round, but April-October are considered the most favorable months. For information on annual averages in rainfall and temperature in our area, visit this link: .
Taxidermy
We follow very careful procedures to ensure that your trophies are taken care of as professionally as possible. As soon as an animal is hunted, it is taken to the skinning facility where our experienced professional skinners get to work. At the end of your safari, your trophies are delivered to the taxidermy of your choice. We use and recommend Trophy Solutions Africa if you do not already have your own taxidermist. They are very professional and do great work. Here is a link to their website:
This website will also give you an understanding of the process in which your trophies are handled. We will advise you on anything you are unclear of involving trophy care and delivery.
